What we offer
Our greatest benefit is where we are.
Looking out onto meadows, fields and woods, our setting is idyllic for those who like quiet and the cry of an owl at night. Equally, set in the middle of England, we are surrounded by an endless variety of lovely places and stunning country.
To avoid towns, traffic and the most expensive hotels in Europe, guests use us as a base. They can hire a car and explore on their own or we can drive them. We advise on the easiest routes, what to avoid, what is worth seeing. Instead of traffic jams trying to get out of town, guests can be on the road to their destination in five minutes.
While for those studying, instead of packed classrooms they can sit on a sofa, in front of the fire or outside on the terrace.
In addition to all the sports and activities already mentioned, we also arrange lessons in other hobbies from painting, gardening to cooking and falconry.
For those who want to visit other parts of the country, we can put them in touch with friends and relations stretching up to the highlands of Scotland.
People in a foreign country, be they old or young, couples or single, prefer somewhere friendly and helpful. They would also like to be treated as people, not a commodity.
